Joseph Dougherty, as General Counsel, advises ownership on a wide range of legal matters spanning acquisitions, project development, leasing, corporate governance, litigation, financings, risk management and operations. Prior to joining Tona, Joseph worked in the corporate and real estate practice groups of Wachtel Missry  Greenspoon Marder and Adler & Stachenfeld, advising a broad range of domestic and international clients on complex commercial transactions. Joseph received his B.S. from Rutgers University, his M.A. from Johns Hopkins University magna cum laude, and his J.D. from The George Washington University Law School, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Energy and Environmental Law.
